Game of Thrones Blog publishes essays about choices in the television series, the political world around its characters, differences from the novels and the real landscapes used in filming. The aim is to give you a specific question to bring to a rewatch or reread.

Which version are we discussing?

Each essay carries a spoiler scope. Articles about the HBO series may discuss its completed ending; book comparisons identify the published novels they address. Television events are not presented as proof of what will happen in an unpublished book. Interpretations and thematic arguments are readings of the work, not privileged knowledge of its creators' intentions.

Images and locations

Thematic photographs are used as illustrations, not as official character portraits or production stills. Location articles identify real places and distinguish them from the fictional settings assembled on screen. A filming connection is not a promise that every area is open to visitors.
